NEW YORK – Introducing its first ever “Partner Award,” The Waldorf Astoria presented PSAV Supervisor Mike Madho, with the honor at the property’s recent Employee Recognition Ceremony.
Madho, who’s been with PSAV since 2001 and with the hotel since 1986, has worked as an elevator operator and held several positions within the audio department with the hotel prior to serving as supervisor. He is widely acclaimed as the “Mayor of The Waldorf” and is admired by his team members.
“I could not think of a better and more deserving team member to be the recipient of this honorable award,” said PSAV Director of Event Technology Fayaz Ali.
“He is a true ambassador to PSAV and to The Waldorf Astoria hotel. Mike has done it all – from pouring coffee to skirting tables, he never says no to any requests. Here’s to continued success with PSAV and The Waldorf Astoria!” exclaimed PSAV Regional Vice President Ken Chiocchi.
