Bringing New York to the Desert

Multiple projections, 50-inch plasmas and an assortment of event technology were used to transform The Westin Kierland Resort’s ballroom into a New York Broadway-themed event.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — For the fourth year, PSAV teamed up with Sunquest Information Systems for the SUG 2013 at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa and transformed the property’s ballroom into a New York Broadway-themed show with scenic elements and video mapping that had the client and attendees raving throughout the conference.

PSAV provided audio, video, scenic elements and lighting for the event, including dual 50-inch plasmas for confidence monitors, a Nexo GEO S8 Line Array System, multiple projectors and several custom MBP set pieces.

“The client absolutely loved the backdrop,” said PSAV Technical Director Joel Leidy. “We had a blast working at this event, and we are looking forward to working with Sunquest again next year at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa!”
