PSAV Goes Pro

CHICAGO – PSAV’s Team at The Westin Chicago Northwest “hit a hole in one” for Event Scotland’s concert promoting the 2014 Ryder Cup professional golf competition.

The Westin Chicago Team, including Dax McDonald, Cole Murray, Matthew Schiefer and Dan Tetzlaff, called on area team members Jerrold Dunn (Conrad Chicago); Jeremy Erickson (Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center
Hotel); Kenny Fernandes (Chicago Outside Services); Anthony Giuliani and Nick LeDonne (Hotel Sofitel Chicago Water Tower); Mike Montali (Four Seasons Hotel Chicago) and Erika Street (Hotel Palomar Chicago), to support the golf event for VIPs and media.

Together, the PSAV Team finessed two Christie Roadster HD18K projectors onto the second-floor balcony to fill the 13’ x 22’ front-projection screen, supported by 21’ of truss. To support the five-member band, PSAV operated a Yamaha M7CL digital live-sound console to control six Meyer Sound UPA speakers, two Meyer Sound UPJ Loudspeakers, two Meyer Sound 600-HP subwoofers and multiple electro-voice stage monitors.
