PSAV Hotel Sales Gives Kids The World

ORLANDO— In early October, the PSAV hotel sales team gathered from around the country to Orlando for its sales meeting and dedicated two days to volunteer at the Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit organization that is supported by not only PSAV, but many of its hotel partners.

PSAV’s SVP of Global Hotel Sales Susan DeVito and her team of 14, greeted guests; entertained children and their parents; drove trains and cookie carts; served ice cream for breakfast and aided children with horseback rides.

Of the experience, DeVito said, “It was amazing. It made us all realize how fortunate we are and how important it is to give back to those in need.  We all took life a little less serious this week and enjoyed helping kids be kids. I think I speak for the team when I say that we may each have taken more away than what we actually gave.”

Give Kids The World is a 70-acre, nonprofit “storybook” resort, located near Central Florida’s most beloved attractions, where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacations.
