Last Minute Invention

CHICAGO—When the planned venue announced it could no longer support the kickoff of Immersa Marketing’s event, just two weeks before it was to begin, the group turned to the PSAV team at the Palmer House a Hilton Hotel with the task of reinventing a General Session and breakout sessions that originally took months to plan.

PSAV’s Sales Manager Agostino Capone, Project Manager Charlie Ward, Director of Event Technology Jeremy Cox and the rest of the team rose up to the challenge and coordinated the reinvention of the four-day program with Immersa Marketing during the two week timeframe.

After careful last-minute planning, the 40-person event staff set up the breakout sessions just one week prior, and set up he General Session in just 24 hours before the start of the event.

The team provided a full production and used a truss structure with 70-foot by 15-foot cyclorama, movers, two camera shoots, digital signage and more.

Though the client was a long-term client of a rivaled AV supplier, PSAV managed to impress the group with their exceptional capabilities and captured the event.
