Lasting Partnerships

NEW YORK — PSAV recently partnered with the International Special Events Society for the ISES New York Metro Chapter 11th Annual Big Apple Awards at the American Museum of Natural History.

The PSAV branch here provided rigging support, D&B Q10 speakers, B&B subs, Midas 24 Channel Mixer, 30 LED Color Force lights, 12 LED Coemar Pars for stagewash, four 55-inch NEC LCD monitors and a 65-inch NEC LCD monitor.

Since the venue did not offer much power, PSAV team members were challenged to be creative with LED lights for the stage and accent lighting. The team worked together to come up with a solution and successfully created an ambiance that garnered positive feedback from attendees.

The event also gave PSAV an opportunity to network and create long-term partnerships with potential clients.

“It was a wonderful experience and I recommend other locations get involved with their local industry associations,” said Branch Director Brent Taylor. “It goes a long way professionally and personally to be active in the organization, to promote PSAV, as well as learn and share experiences with other professionals in the industry.”
