FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The PSAV team was recently thanked by staff of cruise3sixty for its exceptional execution of the 8th annual cruise3sixty conference here at The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.
More than 1300 guests filled the Grand Floridian ballroom for the three-day event complete with general sessions, social events and breakout sessions.
The planning process took place in early January, allowing the team and the client to work together in delivering a spectacular, one-of-a-kind experience to the large audience.
The team of 50 technicians put together the eye-catching set over a span of just two days. The set consisted of a Grand MA, a hazer, laser-lighting, black lighting, five screens with Folsom 1604, six 12k projectors for main screens, four 6k projectors for delay screens, three cameras, DOSC line-array speakers and a Yamaha M7 digital mixer.
“We used state-of-the-art equipment and every screen was a wide-screen,” said PSAV Project Manager Carlos Montero. “This was the first time we did laser-lighting and we really had fun with it. Everyone loved it.”
Though faced with a few battles with microphone frequencies and projection, the team worked diligently and put together a seamless event, which had attendees and the client in awe.
“The client said it was the best cruise3sixty conference he’s been to in the past five years. We look forward to working on this event again next year,” said Montero.
