Joining the Elite

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif.— The PSAV team at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa recently joined the elite team of top hotel executives and its clients for the Elite Meeting International here and created an Arabian-themed outdoor set, captivating the more than 300 guests.

PSAV provided a 9-foot by 12-foot rear projection screen, multiple LAVs, switching, ARS (audience response system), 30 Colorforce LEDs, four airstar balloon lights, powered speakers and microphones.

On each of the three nights, the function was in a different place at the resort, which made for long days and nights of setting up and striking. The crew handled the task with precision and executed the event flawlessly.

“The crew of Nick Scrima, Leo Martinez, Tim Hodgson, Robert Smith, Donnie Gray and Brandon Smith were always one step ahead of me and made my job a million times easier,” said Margaret Holsinger, events manager at Elite Meetings International. “They understood everything I needed and wanted, even though AV isn’t my native language. They truly went above and beyond in making the event look and sound fantastic.”
