CLEVELAND—The IHG Regional General Manager recently thanked the PSAV team here at the InterContinental Hotel Cleveland for their efforts and applauded them for taking The CLE + Rock and Roll Hall of Fame FAM Tour event over the top.
PSAV Director of Event Technology Rob Cupp, Assistant Directors of Event Technology Dale Kiser and Peter Maschari, and Event Technology Specialists Clarence Barns and Will Caynon worked on the jungle-themed event from conception to execution and made it their mission to impress the client and attendees.
On the day of the event, guests were escorted into the cocktail reception surrounded by green and yellow gobos with the sounds of bongo drums playing loudly in the background. The guests were then greeted by Tarzan roaring and running through the ballroom with a cheetah and a zebra.
PSAV provided four 90-degree Lekos, two Leko Juniors with 50-degree lenses, a haze machine, a low-lying fog machine, a variety of leaf-breakout patterns, nine LED lights, a 6-foot by 8-foot rear screen fast-fold, truss, a VRX sound system, 22 panels of pipe and drape and two 50-inch flat panels.
“This was a huge success for PSAV and the InterContinental Hotel Cleveland,” said Assistant Director of Event Technology Dale Kiser. “The management staff and attendees congratulated me and the rest of the PSAV staff, and told us how this event overshadowed many of the events at other locations they’ve previously attended.”
